apt-get !update

Hi,

apt-get isn't updating.  I just added deb http//:ftp.netgod.net x/ and I say that a number of packages have been updated since I last ran an update, but I have no New or Updated packages .

Also apt reports a data transfer rate of >140Kbps, over a V34 modem (I wish!)
