Unfortunately there is no "printer-tool" equivalent I know of. There
is magicfilterconfig which sets up local printers. 

Use smbclient to connect to a remote samba printer. 

If you want to server a linux printer to a samba network you will have
to set up samba and lpr(ng) for yourself.
