Try "route add -net 127.0.0.1" or "route add 127.0.0.0"

You should get a routing table with an entry like this (type "route" with no
arguments):

Destination     Gateway         Genmask         Flags Metric Ref    Use Iface
127.0.0.0       *               255.0.0.0       U     0      0        0 lo
