I'm running the latest version of potato and I get the following
problem
chinook:~> finger
finger: /dev//ttydirs/xxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx: No such file or directory

This is under kernel 2.2.3. Is the solution as simple as compiling
the latest kernel? Biff doesn't work as well.
