SCSI DC-390, kernel 2.2.1 & NOT recognizing

Hi folks,

Since I use the 2.2.1 kernel, it refuse to recognize my second CD-ROM (writer)
and I don't know why!

specs:
SCSI card is DC-390 TEKRAM
SCSI Id 4 is a PIONEER, Model: CD-ROM DR-U16S Rev1.01, Type CD-ROM, ANSI SCSI
Rev.: 02
SCSI Id 5 is a YAMAHA, Model: CRW4416S Rev1.0e, Type CD-ROM, ANSI SCSI Rev.:02

Detection was perfect under 2.0.36-3: Driver = DC-390(T) V1.11 Feb-05-1997
BUT don't work under 2.2.1 .........: Driver = DC-390/AM53C974 V2.0d 1998-12-25

I must say that detection with the original (CD's) driver didn't eather found
the 2nd C-ROM (in fact it was banned from the system and I was obliged to shut
of the main power to recover it!)

The DC-390 (for the both of them) setup is SYNCHRONOUS TRANFER, 10MHz
Strangely, the YAMAHA prints 8.0MHz, but if I try to put that value in the
DC-390, on the next reboot, it says 6.6 MHz??

So, what can I do to recover my 2nd CD-ROM ??? Shall I crush the sources of the
2.2.1's DC-390/AM53C974 with the old sources ?????
