Re: Config multiple ips on one linux box



Thanks for the reply. Just tried:
ifconfig eth0:1 203.63.219.30 netmask up arp broadcast 203.63.219.255

and still getting:
SIOCSIFADDR: Operation not supported by device
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not supported by device
up: No address associated with name
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not supported by device
SIOCSIFBRDADDR: Operation not supported by device
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not supported by device

I think I am missing something in my kernel.
