Sound cut out

My sound cuts out on me after using LIcq for a period of time.  I'm not
sure what the time interval for it to cut out, or even why it is doing it.
I can't remove the sound module and re-insert it because it is apparantly
in use.  Anyone know of a way to reset the sound or something like that?
