The Debian project, in contrast to many Linux distribution development
organisations, is a volunteer based project, not a company. Its product,
Debian GNU/Linux is used by companies though.
Having a Debian representative as a guest might make for an interesting
contrast to companies, and nicely illustrate what makes Linux so different
from other IT trends.

The current Debian project leader lives in the Netherlands, which may or may
not pose organisational problems to you. A large number of Debian developers
live in the US - please contact press@debian.org if you are interested in
having a US based debian developer as a guest.
