mounting floppy disk

Hi all.
I have problems mounting /dev/fd0:

	# mount -t msdos /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy
	mount: the kernel does not recognize /dev/fd0 as a block device
	       (maybe `insmod driver'?)

Any thoughts?  TIA.
