I am hoping that you can help me via e-mail or if not pass this message to
some you know who might be able to help.

I have a problem with compiling the kernel after I have upgraded my system
from Debian 2.0 Packages to Debian 2.1 packages. When and only when I add
sound support for any sound card I get  "make *** [vmlinux] Error 1" with
prior messages of :

ld: warning: cannot find entry symbol _start; defaulting to 000fffe0
drivers/sound/sound.a(dev_table.o): In function 'sound_install_audiodrv':
dev_table.o(.text+0x0e): undefined reference to 'DMAbuf_init'
... the messages continues on, similar to the one above.
