apache-ssl & eperl : problems

i tried to configure my apache to filter .phtml-files through eperl. i 
added to srm.conf:

AddType application/x-httpd-eperl .phtml
Action  application/x-httpd-eperl /cgi-bin/nph-eperl

but my apache says "invalid command Action".

it works without the lines in srm.conf with the url http://myhost/cgi-
bin/nph-eperl?/path/to/file.phtml.

i've got the following packages installed:

apache-common   1.2.6+1.16-2
apache-ssl      1.2.6+1.16-2
eperl           2.2.12-2
