OK, here is the line from dselect for xbase:
 *== Std x11      xbase        3.3.2.3a-8  3.3.2.3a-8. X Window System (XFree86) infrastructure
and here is the line from locales:

(Sorry for the long lines.)
It looks like there is a new version of locales.  Or am I
still missing something?
