pine.deb package
you can download the newest Pine deb packages from the experimental directory on
any mirror site
/debian/project/experimental
There are 3 files you need.
pine_4.05-0.diff.gz
pine_4.05-0.dsc
pine_4.05.orig.tar.gz
you then run
dpkg-source -x pine_4.05-0.dsc
then cd pine-4.05
debian/rules binary
this will build your pine and pico deb's
then you can dpkg -i the pine and pico deb's...
due to licensing issues, debian cannot re-distribute modified binarys of
pine..so they distribute the diff's along with the original source...leaving it
up to the end user to compile it.
as for your apache problem...
go into /etc/apache and edit your httpd.conf file
in there there is a servername option...the problem you might have is that the
servername seems to want to be dns-able...so if you don't have a static ip
address...you'll want to add a line in your /etc/hosts for the name of your
server.
Hope this helps
