I don't think I should be getting this error...

I'm getting a lot of errors like the following:

ian# dpkg -i libc6_2.0.7u-6.deb

ldconfig: warning: can't open /usr/lib/i486-linuxaout/libdb.so.1 (No such file or directory), skipping

Where might I find this "libdb.so.1" or run an install to 
create it?
