Help fixing latest X deb weirdness.

Hi,
I was trying to repair whatever the *-6 x11 files did to my machine.... All
the errors are about /usr/man, so I check in /usr/man and I have....

<SNIP>
drwxr-xr-x   2 root     root         1024 Oct 31 23:14 man6
drwxr-xr-x   2 root     root         2048 Nov  1 01:07 man7
?-w-r-s--t 28276 root     29545     1245212 Oct  2  2029 man8
</SNIP>

I figure I Will delete man 8 (since if its been made into a file, its probably
ruined anyway), and reinstall everything.....

ÚÄ(root@jade)Ä(18/ttyp3)Ä(08:19pm:11/04/98)Ä-
ÀÄ($:/usr/man)Ä- rm -R man8
rm: remove `man8', overriding mode 3251? y
rm: man8: Operation not permitted
ÚÄ(root@jade)Ä(20/ttyp3)Ä(08:19pm:11/04/98)Ä-
ÀÄ($:/usr/man)Ä- chmod a+w man8
chmod: man8: Operation not permitted

:(. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Timothy

PS, it says:
ÀÄ($:/usr/man)Ä- less man8
man8 is not a regular file (use -f to see it)
ÚÄ(root@jade)Ä(22/ttyp3)Ä(08:24pm:11/04/98)Ä-
ÀÄ($:/usr/man)Ä- file man8
man8: setgid sticky file: invalid mode 073251.
ÚÄ(root@jade)Ä(23/ttyp3)Ä(08:24pm:11/04/98)Ä-

What is a sticky file?
