Bug encountered while attempting to configure Device Drivers Modules
Hello,
While installing Debian (Oct. '97 release) I encountered the following error
MSG while configuring device driver modules: "This line should never be
reached. This indicates a bug in this program. You might want to write the
error messages before you continue. Press ENTER when you are ready."
Before (and after) that, each time I chose a driver to configure (by
highlighting its name and pressing ENTER), the following MSG showed at
bottom of screen (under the blue menu):
"/usr/sbin/mdconf cannot open /etc/modules: no such file"
Anyone had this happen before?
