Re: adding, changing, using true type fonts under X11



1) Adding fonts to X11 (in existing directories):
If I wanted to add the file courR14h.pcf.gz to the (existing) directory 
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi, I would:

        chmod 444 *.pcf.gz
        mv courR14h.pcf.gz /usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi
        mkfontdir /usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi
        xset fp rehash
