Since your hostname is archangel (this is probably in /etc/hostname) and
samson.ml.org is not in hostnames, smail does not know that samson.ml.org
is local. Try this modification:
visible_name=samson.ml.org
domains=dallas.net:ml.org
hostnames=aux-217-10-129:samson:archangel
The order might be somewhat important in that the first hostname and first
domain listed form a FQDN that can be found with a reverse lookup.
