Trouble with Xwindows
Hi all,
I have just installed Linux on my Cyrix 200-based computer with
an S3 Trio64V+ card. XF86Setup runs smoothly. Unfortunately, when
I run startx, I receive the error message:
X: exec of /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_NONE failed
xdm aborts almost immediately without telling me anything. Just typing
"X" gives me a screen with the correct resolution but, of course, no
shell windows. (At least I know this way that I have not selected the
wrong card.) What should I do?
Thanks
Harald
