SSH logon
Hi,
I want to login as root user without give it password.
I already had it working but since last week it's always asking me for
the password!
I'm using: ssh -l root <my host>
I made: ssh-keygen as nemanuel username and copied identity.pub as
authorized_keys on /root/.ssh directory !
Wouldn't this be enough !?
------ ---- - - --
/root :
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root root 334 Oct 30 20:21 authorized_keys
-rw------- 1 root root 325 Oct 30 19:56 known_hosts
-rw------- 1 root root 512 Oct 30 20:11 random_seed
------ - - - --- --
I already generated a RSA key for root user but it still didn't works !;(
/home/nemanuel/.ssh :
-rw-rw-r-- 1 nemanuel users 334 Oct 30 20:21 authorized_keys
-rw------- 1 nemanuel users 530 Oct 30 19:57 identity
-rw-rw-r-- 1 nemanuel users 334 Oct 30 19:57 identity.pub
-rw------- 1 nemanuel users 650 Oct 30 19:55 known_hosts
-rw------- 1 nemanuel users 512 Oct 30 20:33 random_seed
-------------------------------
Could someone help ?
Thanks.
