PRINTS 1 PAGE SHORT

From applix words I cannot print a single page and if a job is more than a page, the last one is in the printer's buffer, but it won't print until I go off life and press the Form Feed key.  >From DOS 'lp filename'  works fine.

If I insert a Page Break in words, it will print the first page, but I get a blank page afterwards.  I added the following to /etc/printcap,

        :ff=\r\f:

but the job does not print as expected per the above.

Here is the printcap for my Okidata OL 410e printer.  It runs PCL5 Class and I select the 'lp' printer:

    lp|ok|ol410e|okidata OL410e:\
         :lp=/dev/lp1:sd=/var/spool/lpd/ol410e:\
         :sh:pw#80:pl#66:px#1440:mx#0:\
         :if=/etc/magicfilter/ljet3-filter:\
         :af=/var/log/lp-acct:lf=/var/log/lp-errs:\
         :ff=\r\f:

Please tell me what I should do to the printcap (or anything else) to easily and simply print a single page without inserting a page break etc.
