Error Rebuilding speak-freely.deb



I needed to change an option compiled into speak-freely.deb,
Script started on Tue Aug 11 21:28:49 1998
Here's the trimmed output of what I tried, and the resulting
error message I got.

Is this the proper way to generate a .deb package from source,
