Well, the xclock program in the xbase package can be displayed in 24
digital format with the -d (or -digital) flag.  No date though.  It
gets swallowd nicely by fvwm.  This is my config for the clock, in
analog form.

(all on one line)
*FvwmButtons(Swallow "xclock" "Exec xclock -update 1 -bg \#c0c0c0 -fg black 
-hd black -hl black &")
