Solution: Re: compiling sendmail on libc6: redefinitions in socket.h

[regarding include file problems while compiling sendmail from the
original sources:

it didn't have anything to do with sendmail (as i already suspected). i
already looked through the diffs, but thanks for the tip.

The solution i came accross by accident was:

the libc6-dev package was installed, but broken in some way (i can't
figure it out anymore). i reinstalled it and everything went fine...
