keyboard configuration under X - hebrew keyboard
I'm having trouble configuring the keyboard under x.
It used to work ok once, i don't know what i changed
but the delete and backspace keys don't work. The backspace
sends ~ signs (or at list thats how they apear) and delete sends
.
they both beep when i press them. when i use ^d and ^h it works fine.
also the alt key won't work as meta.
Also i wan't to configure the keyboard to use non ascii caracters (ie.
hebrew). If anyone can tell me how to do this. Also how to install
hebrew (the hebrew.howto is from 96) and if by any chance i can
configure the editors (especially xemacs) to be able to use hebrew.
The main problem is thats its writen from right to left instead of the
other way around.
