Again: Mouse problem running 'xbase-configure'

Hello, when I try to configure X I get the errormsg below
as soon as I move the mouse.
I have a standard Microsoft mouse connected to COM1
Any ideas?

can't read "tkPriv(x)": no such element in array
    while executing
"if {(300 != $tkPriv(x)) || (189 != $tkPriv(y))} {
	    set tkPriv(mouseMoved) 1
    (command bound to event)
