Re: SMTP connection went away?



Have you changed hostnames or anything? Is smail running out of inetd or
as a daemon?  Can you telnet to localhost 25 and see the smail
announcement?  Is your hosts.allow set up correctly?

Look in /var/log/daemon.log for error messages.
