smail anti-spam

Can anyone give me an example of an smtp_remote_allow for smail?
I have tried

smtp_remote_allow=localnet:rising.com.au

and some variations, but whatever I do, my machine hamishpc.rising.com.au
is not allowed to relay mail through. Any ideas?
