Boot hang and debian hamm
I cleanly installed a recent version of HAMM and have
no problems booting from floppy. However, after a subsequent
rebuild of the kernel (2.0.32) and required lilo execution,
I have been unable to reboot the kernel. The only text printed
to the screen is "LI".
I rebuilt and executed lilo a couple of times with no improvement.
Note that the kernel that was originally installed with the
distribution (/boot/linux) booted the system, but since the
rebuild and subsequent execution of lilo, this kernel fails as well.
I hope I don't have to reformat and reinstall!
Thanks,
Jeff
Here is lilo.conf:
