10/100 Ethernet
Hi,
I've got a 3com fast etherlink XL, connected to a dedicated 100base-T
link.
I've been told that the card should autosence the speed of the line, and
use the appropriate speed.
What I'm conserned about is that when I run ifconfig, the following line
seems to indicate that it is running at only 10Mbps...
eth0 Link encap:10Mbps Ethernet
Does this really mean that the card is only working at 10Mb? How can I
get it to go to 100Mbps?
BTW, network access to and from the machine seems fine.
Thanks for any advice,
Chris
