kde

I have tried to install kde on a debian system, but get error messages such 
as the following:

dpkg: error processing kdesupport-Beta3-1.i386.deb (--install):
 trying to overwrite `/opt/kde/lib', which is also in package kdelibs
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 kdesupport-Beta3-1.i386.deb

Can you offer any suggestions.
