Correct. ksmbfs must be removed from Hamm before 2.0. smbfs replaces
ksmbfs and it contains only two binaries: smbmount and smbumount.
Package smbfs works for kernels < 2.1.70. For later kernels package
smbfsx must be used instead.

Right, and it has been fixed in samba-1.9.18p3-1.
