Ok, so you are looking at a non-desktop, probably headless box to take the
place of a Netware server on a network running exim, qpopper, samba
and IP-Masquerading. This should probably be installable by someone that
knows enough about network services to configure windows workstations to
use network printers and filesystems.

And in this particular environemt, you probably dont WANT individual users
playing with the network services. Networking is a slightly more advanced
concept than desktop services. We can try to make it simpler but not even
Microsoft or Novell expects desktop users to manage NT server or Novell
server network services ... that is why they offer so many training
courses.

There is tkinfo. Have you used it? I have it installed on all of my
Debian boxes.
