tcpd and new net package

well, I just let dselect d/l a few new packages, but when I try to irc
into my machine, I get this in daemon.log:

Feb 19 23:52:58 walterp ircd[634]: warning: can't get client address:
Transport endpoint is not connected
Feb 19 23:52:58 walterp ircd[634]: connect from unknown

telnet and finger's get logged correctly.

-rw-r--r--   1 root     root       683554 Feb 19 22:02 netstd_2.12-1.deb

these are the new packages...
 
Any ideas? please respond by email, as I just unsubscribed from
debian-user for a little bit to let me catch on on my mail, INBOX has 3900
items.
