You need a kernel with IP_ALIAS enabled.
Then add a new network on the same physical network with:
ifconfig eth0:0 192.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.0.0.255
route add -net 192.0.0.0 dev eth0:0
(This assumes, the printer thinks it's on a Class C network and the ip
192.0.0.1 is still free in your local network)
