I dropped a short message about menu on the Debian list but something that
people need to consider ... if a commercial company invests its people's
time in developing something, they more-or-less have to use it.  Otherwise
it is real money down the drain.  You look pretty stupid going to your
boss telling him that a project that ate up X hours and cost Y dollars has
been replaced by something that is completely free. Though Red Hat has
GPLed the code, I would expect it to be in their best interest to use what
they developed ... if only to keep the bean-counters at Red Hat happy.
