This is pretty true. It's not tough to move things around later,
assuming you've left some free space (unpartitioned) on the disk -- I have
a 2.1 gig drive, and only about half of it's even partitioned at the
moment.

This sounds like a filesystem problem to me, but I'm not a filesystem
guru.

Yes, the problem is that you must do this from within DOS, or Win95 Dos
mode. So you might have to make a dos boot floppy from your Win95
installation media.

I'd assume Mr. Blunier meant 1 gig rather than 1 meg...
