Wierd Printing problem

Hi,

I asked a question while back about printing from staroffice with my
archaic 9pin epson lx80.

I was told to install apsfilter. so I did ... then I tryed printing a ps
file from the command line like this

lpr hum.ps

at that point I recived page after page of this error message printed on
my printer...

While reading gs_fonts.ps:
Error: /undefinedfilename in (fontmap)
Operand stack:

Execution stack:
   %interp_exit --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false
--nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval--
Dictionary stack:
   --dict:429/631-- --dict:34/200-- --dict:429/631--
Last OS error: 2
Current file postion is 2350.

I also get this error when I try to pull up a ps file in gv ...

Any help is appreicated...
TIA
