Boot problems after upgrade 1.2.x -> 1.3.1
Hi,
I have upgraded my 1.2.x (kernel 2.0.30), to 1.3.1.
I have used the old kernel and modules (2.0.30)
the boot process is "missing something"
Modules are not loaded correctly for examples vfat is not
loaded ( because it fails to recognize and load fat before vfat ).
two lpd processes are started on the same prot (lp1)
I have two modems one gets overruns (means probably an interrupt conflict)
How can I debug this problem. Is there a way to boot the system step by step
the /etc/init.d/boot has not changed with the upgrade.
the /etc.init.d/modules has not changed
which program cause this mess (init? (where is it ?))
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks
