I think there is a quite clear license for qmail. 1) Unmodified sources for versions up from and including 1.0 may be freely distributed. 2) All modified source distributions and all binary distributions must be authorized by Dan. I don't know, however, if this is stated in the source distribution itself. In my opinion qmail is clearly non-free stuff in relation to Debian. Antti-Juhani -- ...
