I mentioned it to SSC this spring after a student asked me about it. It
seems worthwhile if done properly and if it's not expensive. I haven't
thought about how certification should be done. I guess I thought that
Debian, SSC, and other interested parties could create a unified
certification package that could be used by colleges or Linux groups at
little or no cost.
