Still trying to install debian through ftp.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. Unfortunately, I haven't had any
luck at making ftp or telnet work at all, either using ip numbers (gives
error 'no route to host'); or computer names (gives eth0 time out). Could
someone explain what should be after 'search', or 'domain' in the
resolv.conf file please.

Also, what protocols should I have installed? I've got R-ARP, and I
thought this might be causing some problems, although I didn't have it
originally. Where can I find a configuration file which loads these
protocols, so I can turn them on/off. (I reinstalled from floppies, and
basically selected all the drivers which successfully initiated, including
eg. those for ISDN, which I don't even have).

If I give up on ftp for the moment (I have a network connection at
college, but I'm going home for the holidays soon), which bits of the
debian.org site do I have to download onto my dos drive to be able to
install from this? Is there any way (through windows), to download all
the files in the correct directory structure all in one go, or do I have
to download each one individually (which is very tedious, particularly as
the netscape 'SAVE AS ...' process always suggests the wrong names (' ',
and '.' replaced by '_')).

Cheers Rich.
