Well, it's  nfs mounts in /etc/fstab (or "manual" nfs mounts in other
scripts). Nuke those nfs mounts, and possibly the nfsd in 
/etc/init.d/netstd_nfs you will not generate any nfs pollution 
on the local net -- wheather that's what you want I don't know.

The nfsiod daemons really are neccecary if you want your machine to
mount nfs volumes. (although it used to be implemented differently
in older kernels, so the nfsiod stuff didn't show up in ps).
