Hi,
Regarding the problem of angband depending on a later version
of libc than is there in the stable directory: angband is in the
non-free area, and was released after the developer (yours truly)
moved over to the newer library in the unstable section. The angband
release, then, is supposed to be ``unstable''.
Since the non-free and contrib areas are not (yet) subdivided
into stable and unstable, there does exist the possibility of getting
unstable packages from these sections.
I do apologize for any inconvenience caused by this.
