There are no stupid questions... (Maybe some stupid answers, but that's
something else entirely.)
I'm making these assumptions from your message:
- you have a hard drive with the DOS (FAT) system on it
- you want to make it an exclusively Debian drive
That's simple. Just follow the standard installation procedure; it
reformats the drive anyway.
