smail and "name <login@system.name>"

First of all, apologies to anyone who tried to reach me and couldn't
because of a broken From: line, but not really as your mailer reallys
hould support the Reply-to: header :) (btw, my real address is
vizzie@airmail.net) if this comes out wrong.)

Is there a way to get smail to rewrite addresses of the form
"Name <login@host>" to use the visible_name name as the host part?
I've been sending out mail as vizzie@pinky.mimosa.org, since I didn't
realize that smail wasn't handling mh's syntax. I've figured out how
to con mh into writing the address correctly in the first place, but
it seems to me that the MTA should do the right thing here. If
there's no way to tell smail to do this right, I may just switch back
to sendmail. Yeah, it's a security hole waiting to happen, but it
does the right thing most of the time :)
