The documentation for version 0.93R6 is in debian/debian-manual.* . Most
of the data here is out of date.

Bruce Perens has put a lot of work into a comprehensive install guide,
which can be found in debian/unstable/disks-i386/install.* . These
explain how to copy the installation disks to floppy (the installation
disks are in debian/unstable/disks-i386), a step by step process
and explanation of the installation procedure on the disks.

After going thru the installation process, may I recommend reading the
help screens for 'dselect' (our package maintenance system) closely before
pressing keys.

A note about 'upgrading' from slackware. I would recommend installing
Debian completely separately from slackware. They do not co-exist well
at all.
