compiling netstd-2.00 for COFF

   Hello again.

   Ok, I d'loaded your netstd-2.00 sources (I couldn't find
netstd-1.26) and tried the `debian.rules build'.

   It got as far as popclient -- so my immediate problem is fixed,
thank you -- but then it got hung up trying to compile `rdate-1.2' and
I thought you might want to be aware of this fact so I have enclosed
some more details below.

   I am more than happy to assist.
