Linux doesn't work on MCA bus

The first try bounced (your mailer may be somewhat mis-configured), so here's
another.

Linux has never been ported to the Micro-Channel Architecture. I don't know
if it's because nobody cared to do it, or because there were problems with
getting documentation and licensing (obviously, we can't sign non-disclosure
agreements and then post free software to the net). At this point the PCI
bus has taken over, so few people would be interested in doing a port.

IBM likes to make non-PC-compatible interfaces. After all, they're IBM!
Their laptops aren't PC-BIOS compatible, their sound-system in the latest
laptops is undocumented and/or requires a non-disclosure agreement, etc.
