dpkg 0.93.68: conffile abort bugfix, ALPHA access methods

Previous versions of the new dpkg would die with SIGABRT if you tried
to use the default response at a configuration file resolution prompt.
This is fixed. (Thanks to Raul Miller for reporting it.)

There are a few miscellaneous option name changes &c.

This version of the package includes some ALPHA access method scripts
in /usr/lib/dpkg. In order to use them you will need to delete any
old methods you have lying around - this includes Carl's hard disk
methods and my testing/example ones.

You can make the old scripts invisible to dselect by renaming (for
example) /usr/local/lib/dpkg/methods to methods.old. If you take this
approach and you need to rename /usr/lib/dpkg/methods, do it *before*
you upgrade the dpkg package, or you'll just move aside the
newly-installed scripts :-).

These scripts are relatively untested, and I don't have a CD-ROM disc
suitable for testing the CD-ROM option properly, but I'd like brave
souls to try the scripts out.

dpkg (0.93.68) BETA; priority=MEDIUM

  * dpkg won't get an internal error if you try to use the default
conffiles response (ie, if you just hit return). (Bug#1208.)

  * dselect hard disk and CD-ROM methods - the real thing, but ALPHA.

  * dselect allows you to go straight to `update' or `install' if
you have already set up an access method.
  * new dpkg options --yet-to-unpack, --merge-avail and --update-avail.
  * dpkg -G is an abbreviation for dpkg --refuse-downgrade.
  * dpkg -R alias for --root withdrawn, pending reuse with different meaning.
  * dpkg --help message rationalised somewhat.

  * Obsolete `examples' and `dpkg-split' directories removed from
source tree. The `hello' package is a better example.
